- A bachelorsdegree in a related area
- At least 5 years ofexperience with a working knowledge of relational databasesclientserver concepts and web site development
- Expert knowledge of ESRI GIS software and appliedtechnologies including ArcGIS Desktop ArcGIS Pro and ArcGISEnterprise
- Expert skills in JavaScript ArcGISAPI for JavaScript and Python
- Experience incartography (desired)
- Experience creatingREST / SOAP APIs Web Services and / or JSON services
- Experience in working with mobile applications and GPSUnits
- Experience developing GIS applicationsin a web or desktop environment
- Experiencedeveloping applications using Microsoft Visual Studio
- Relational database management experience with ArcSDEdatabases in MS SQL Server 2012 or above
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Experience incomplex spatial analysis for natural resource projects(desired)
- Experience managing geospatialdatabases including conversion of digital data in various formatsand completing FGDC metadata
- Excellent writingskills
WorkingConditions :
- Perform duties fulltime in the office at the start withthe opportunity to migrate to a hybrid remote work agreement (seebelow) depending on project needs and demonstrated ability toeffectively communicate / coordinate with team members and producequality products while working remotely.
- Perform a high volume of detailed technical work in alone developer environment
- Routinely work withothers in development and delivery of spatial and tabular data andmaps for use in resource management regulation and collaborativedecisionmaking activities
- Work 2 days a weekin the office after working fulltime in the office for a period oftime in order to become familiar with coworkers and demonstrate theability to perform the work while working remotely.
