11 The Role : Technology Senior Financial Analyst
The Team :
The Technology FP&A Team, which supports the Digital Solutions Organization, is searching for a Sr. Analyst, Financial Analysis for the Technology FP&A reporting team.
The Sr. Analyst will play a key role in supporting the monthly close and estimate process by aggregating required actual data, preparing and distributing reports, updating forecasts and assisting with daily accounting and operational support.
Additionally, the Financial Analyst will perform day-to-day management of financial operations involving expenses as well as special projects.
The Impact : This position will provide monthly financial reporting and analysis on a timely and accurately basis to facilitate decision making by management.
Responsibilities :
The resource will work closely with stakeholders to execute the financial management and accounting activities within the Corporate FP&A organization, focusing on centralized technology expenses.
Ensures all work practices, processes, and procedures for the business comply with the requirements of the jurisdictional rules of the country, SOX, and company policies and procedures.
- Partner with the Accounting COE team during month end close to review journal entries, accruals, prepaid, balance sheet reconciliations, and reclasses for the organization prepared by the COE.
- Prepare monthly estimates, perform variance analysis and tracking of targets.
- Identifies issues, risks, and opportunities, proposing solutions to management.
- Tracks and maintains renewals, ensuring timely closure of deliverables.
- Supports the implementation of new technologies to streamline processes (Alteryx) and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Partners with all Functional Financial Analysts, Accounting COE, Procurement, and Vendor Governance to enable efficiencies.
- Prepare yearly budgets.
What We're Looking For :
Basic Qualifications :
- 5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience at a financial or technology firm.
- Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge and expertise with financial systems (Oracle Fusion, Anaplan, Ariba, Workday, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Alteryx a +.
- Adept at problem-solving using financial analysis methods.
- Proven design abilities for reports / dashboards in Business Intelligence solutions.
Preferred Skills :
- Self-starter and Independent thinker who acts creatively to problem solve.
- Familiar with multiple business functions (Marketing, Product, Finance, et al.) and comfortable engaging with various stakeholders.
- Passionate about using data to drive business decisions.
- Comfortable managing the delivery of high-quality outputs with overlapping deadlines and tight time constraints.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present issues and ideas.
- Attentive to accuracy, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, finds the root cause of quality problems, owns / acts on quality problems.
The Location : Princeton, New Jersey
Compensation / Benefits Information :
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,872.00 $132,323.00. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
