Responsibilities of our Caregivers Meal Preparation Perform all non-medical home care services as needed Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming Medication Reminders Assistance with walking Light housekeeping Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff Qualifications Communication and listening skills Respect, Empathy, and Compassion At least to 1 year of experience of providing personal care to the elderly Dementia / Alzheimer’s / Hospice care experience is a plus Valid driver’s license, car, and insurance preferably Good communication skills in Spanish, Russian , or Italian would be also a plus Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or Chest X-Ray completed Must be able to pass both criminal background checks and drug screening.
