What You'll Do

As the Sr. National & Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

You will manage relationships with national accounts and key customers, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and delivering exceptional service.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales leadership, and industry expertise in construction equipment.

Role & Responsibility

  • Develop and implement comprehensive account plans for national and key accounts, aligned with company goals and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers at various levels within customer organizations.
  • Understand customer requirements, challenges, and business objectives to propose solutions and maximize value through our products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve profitable agreements while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product management, customer service) to ensure alignment and support for customer initiatives.
  • Drive new business development opportunities within existing accounts and identify prospects for expansion.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all account management activities.

Requirements :

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record (5+ years) in national or key account management within the construction equipment industry, preferably with OEMs or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of construction equipment products, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to travel extensively as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
