  • Under the direction of and in coordination with the Department Manager and Chair, the Analyst responsibilities include : financial administration to include reimbursements, purchases, stipends;
  • primary administrator for the undergraduate program including textbook ordering; academic personnel administration of hires, merits and promotions;

employment and salary administration; departmental website maintenance; event planning and orchestration; customer service pertaining to daily administrative operations for faculty, staff, students and visitors in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society.

This position is eligible for hybrid / remote work.

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Required

  • Experience analyzing and organizing complex information and the proven ability to produce clear, comprehensive and complete reports based on that analysis. Required
  • Skills in service orientation, organization, active listening, and critical thinking. Required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making. Required
  • Ability to function effectively as a member of a team. Required
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Required
  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Preferred
  • Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff. Preferred

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $31.72- $37.97 (Hourly).

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
