Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless is seeking a Financial Analyst II for our dynamic, highly technical business environment. This role offers the opportunity to make significant contributions across the entire wireless team and leadership.

As the financial conscience for the wireless organization, you will provide budget-to-actual reporting and reconciliation, KPI reporting, business case development, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will excel at transforming data into actionable insights that drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

In this role, you will :

  • Prepare monthly executive summaries and consolidate wireless financials.
  • Build and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, including KPI scorecards.
  • Create and deliver financial metric presentations to upper management with recommendations.
  • Develop analysis and reporting capabilities to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Acquire data from multiple sources to evaluate and interpret trends or patterns.
  • Assign numerical and financial values to essential business functions to assess and compare performance over time.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Financial Analyst II, you will have :

Education and Experience :

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting / finance environment, preferably in the telecom, manufacturing or construction industries

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Basic knowledge of financial, data and reporting tools (., Smartview, Onestream, Tableau, SQL)
  • Rational, curious, with outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, evaluate, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives

Salary Ranges Compensation : $63,150.00 / Year - $90,000.00 / Year Benefits

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies;

compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
