Vaco Boston is proud to partner with a supply and logistics company hiring for a full-time Payroll Specialist within the human resources department.

The role includes benefits and a base salary.

Job Description :

  • Process weekly payroll for all union and non-union employees,
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, and benefits.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments and changes.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Willingness to learn and expand into additional HR responsibilities.
