Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team at East Texas Family Medicine.

The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of health conditions across the lifespan, including geriatric and pediatric care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology and ICD-10 coding.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in healthcare practices related to primary care, medical-surgical nursing, ophthalmology, and geriatrics.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding.
- Proficiency in managing geriatric patients and understanding their unique healthcare needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
