Our client is seeking a Youth Behavioral Aide in the North Hills area.
AVAILABLE HOURS
- Long term independent contractor or Part-time shifts
- Evening and weekend hours
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Provide services for high and at-risk children and youth with behavior and or mental health challenges
- Majority of work will be in Foster Care Homes, under the direction of caregiver / foster parent
- Engage with the youths. Assist with schoolwork and ask about their life (likes or dislikes)
- Provide line of sight supervision without overwhelming the child
- Redirect negative and problematic behaviors
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Experience working with at risk individuals (paid or unpaid)
- Produce current medical / health documents including : physical examination, Tuberculosis / TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
- High School diploma or higher
- Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
