Office Manager / Bookkeeper
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a manufacturing company in Tempe. This company is in search of a full time bookkeeper to join their team.
This job is fully in office, Monday-Friday either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. The range of pay is between $27 / hr-$31 / hr DOE.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage payroll processing and associated tax filings.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
