Resident Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Resident Assistant for our nonprofit client located in the Santa Barbara area. This will be an open-ended contract position and a full-time, 100% onsite opportunity.
The position will be working within our client's interim housing environment and interested candidates must feel comfortable working with the homeless demographic.
This position will be a support-centered role assisting our client's staff and case managers with day to day duties including administrative reports, room checks, and ensuring the safety of the facility and grounds.
This position will also assist in crisis situations with residents as needed, as well as take care of maintenance situations as needed throughout the building.
Available shifts include swing and graveyard shifts working at least 1 weekend day.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year customer service experience
Proficiency within Microsoft Office
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to de-escalate high-pressure situations in a calm and professional manner
Can work well independently and make sound judgment calls as needed
Compassionate and empathetic towards others
Able to document and work well within different software systems
Pay Details : $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
