Overview :
Assist in the supervision and execution of installation for all aspects of HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, food service equipment, ceilings, millwork, POS, and shelving in new stores, rebuilds, and remodels.
Install new equipment for roll-outs of new menu items.
Responsibilities :
1. Provide direction for installation and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment, HVAC unit, duct work, food service equipment, hood systems, and shelving, according to action plans and established quality standards.
2. Provide mentorship and direction to technicians and leads on site, building teams to facilitate and support leadership and desired outcomes.
3. Ensure and execute all safety regulations are followed per federal, state, local, and Sheetz requirements.
4. Participate in training recently hired technicians and leads, ensuring installation of construction equipment follows established guidelines and requirements.
5. Be able to read, write, and follow instructions, such as blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams.
6. Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, new store checklist, DOT logs, post trip vehicle inspections forms, and weekly transaction logs for procurement cards.
7. Communicate with fire marshals, mechanical inspectors, and health inspectors for final close outs on new stores and remodels.
8. Barcode and document equipment for tracking warranties, analyzing reliability, maintenance issues, and technical support.
9. Drive the development of our crews through communication with outside vendors specific to company values, visions, & policies.
10. Plan, implement, and manage construction tasks in accordance with company priorities and goals; prepare and present progress of jobs and team members on a regular basis.
11. Manage and monitor team member’s attendance and completion of work.
Qualifications :
Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and / or experience may be considered)
Education
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Technical / Trade / Sheetz training required
Experience
- Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience required
- Minimum 1 years construction supervision experience required
Licenses / Certifications (Ability to attain required licenses within one year of acceptance).
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- EPA certifications license I and II required.
- Valid DOT medical card preferred.
- CPR / First Aid preferred.
