Equipment Repair :
- Ensures equipment is repaired, safe, and ready to process.
- Work with manager to order repair parts as needed for equipment repair
- Ensures proper check in and check out of equipment
- Maintains repair schedule and regular maintenance schedules for all equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Type : Full-time
Requirements
High School degree or G.E.D. equivalent, plus two (2) years’ experience in an equipment repair preferred.
Experience in retail / equipment repair experience and / or educational equivalent preferred.
Must be able to effectively navigate basic computer programs.
The Shop Mechanic II is responsible for advanced repair and maintenance of machines in our rental fleet, including earth-moving, aerial, landscaping, material handling equipment, and more.
This mechanic's work ranges in scope from general troubleshooting and repairs, up to more complex repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems and diesel engines.
The Shop Mechanic II is also referred to as the Shop Tech II.
