ECS is seeking a qualified Project Manager (Senior) to support transformative science and technology solutions for the Department of Energy.

This position will oversee projects, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.
Responsibilities include :
- Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.
- Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.
- This position will assist with customer engagements, to include technical discussions about big data, analytics, and exploitation.
- Be the main on-site support for and will be required to conduct trainings and demonstrations and provide technical and project management support.
Required Skills :
- Master's Degree in business information systems, business administration (MBA), or a related field AND four years of experience managing projects adhering to formalized project management frameworks (PMI PMBOK, Agile / Scrum Master, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in business information systems, business administration, or a related field AND six years of experience managing projects adhering to formalized project management frameworks (PMI PMBOK, Agile / Scrum Master, etc.)
- Ten years of experience managing projects adhering to formalized project management frameworks (PMI PMBOK, Agile / Scrum Master, etc.)
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance throughout the life of the contract
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must currently live in Morgantown, WV or willing to relocate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills :
- Active Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance with the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract.
- Two or more years experience supporting US Government customers
- Expertise with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Strong technical writing skills
- Strong ability to construct creative and professional presentations.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to drive projects and provide day-to-day direction to team members
- Experience transitioning projects / services into on-going operational modes
- Ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders
