We are looking for a / an :
NDT Inspector (m / f)
Based in : Filton, Bristol .
Contract Type : Permanent
Job Type : Full time. 37.5 hours per week
Your mission
Plan, evaluate and carry out non-destructive material testing (NDT) for national and international customers
Carry out tests in the areas of magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, visual inspection, X-ray testing, ultrasonic testing and eddy current testing.
Document test results in writing in accordance with local and global company procedures
Carry out standardized tests on a wide variety of materials.
Maintain obtained skills and certifications and acquire new ones
Work on requirements provided by management whenever called upon
Your skills
Qualification / certification in accordance with EN4179 in the methods of :
- RT - Film & Non Film
- UT - Conventional & Phased Array (desirable)
- Conventional & Array (desirable)
- Documented experience hours for all NDT methods held
- Documented Aerospace / Aircraft work experience hours
In-service / manufacturing inspection background
Experienced in the inspection of metallic and composite components.
Driving license class B and full availability to travel at short notice, work away from the principal business address
Clearance to enter all customer countries without the requirement for extensive / blocking visas
Working extended hours - Payment will be made in line with agreed terms and conditions
Shift patterns - flexibility required to cover the patterns as detailed by our customers
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Independent and structured way of working
Ability to work in a team, resilience, flexibility
