- Greet customers properly as they enter the service area.
- Determine need for repairs by questioning customer about vehicle’s performance, or by visual inspection of vehicle.
- Estimate cost of repair and prepare itemized work order, listing costs of parts and labor.
- Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
- Answering all incoming calls coming into your desk phone, should you miss a call listen to your voicemail and return any calls from customers the same day.
- Communicating with customers daily, via our texting software, phone calls or in person to ensure they have updates regarding their vehicles.
- May make minor adjustments or repairs.
- Ensure repair orders are written / closed in a timely manner.
- Close out repair orders as soon as work is completed and promptly notify customer of completed status.
- Work in a cooperative and positive manner with all personnel.
- Ensure CSI is above or meets minimum standards.
- Maintain companies established minimum standards on labor and parts gross.
- Conform to the company’s policies on non-discrimination and harassment.
- Treat members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner and maintains a professional demeanor while on the job.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
