The role offers a company vehicle and travels around 80-85 nights annually. The total compensation can reach up to $120k base salary, plus $25k-65k+ in tiered sales commissions and generous benefits.
The following is required :
- Engineer or experienced technician.
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer and combustion (Experience with Burners, Boilers. Process Heaters, etc)
- Experienced in designing and pricing heat transfer equipment. (There is no proposal department this candidate is going to have to figure out the pricing).
- Experience in Capital equipment sales.
- Ability to negotiate Multimillion Dollar contracts.
- Good knowledge of the regional market for heat transfer equipment.
- Preferably to reside in the territory or willing to relocate there. (Denver or Colorado or Utah are good places to start)
- This is a position that takes time to start producing the desired results, as such candidates with reasonable longevity with previous employers are preferred.
- Approved Compensation is $125,000 / year plus 2% commission

Our firm has been exclusively engaged by a global publicly traded heavy equipment manufacturer client seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will sell equipment that is engineered to order and unique to that customer's specifications.
This candidate must have an engineering background, along with extensive knowledge and proven experience in selling heat transfer and combustion capital equipment.
In this role, you will drive sales strategies to gain market share in designated accounts and territories and maintain regular contact with new and existing customers.

Responsibilities :
- Identify and assess sales opportunities in assigned accounts / territories
- Prospect and develop new accounts
- Maintain long-term customer relationships and participate in relevant events
- Conduct meetings with decision-makers and manage sales relationships
- Recommend solutions, prepare equipment quotations, and negotiate prices
- Achieve sales growth targets, manage budgets, and track activities in ACT software
- Assist outside sales representatives, deliver presentations, and attend trade shows as needed
Qualifications :
- 3+ years experience in heat transfer capital equipment sales required
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Preferred
- Strong understanding of heat transfer equipment and knowledge of the regional market
