Our Open Opportunity

Oversees the Front Office operations and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available.

Directs staff that performs the following duties : welcomes and registers hotel guests, explain the accommodations and establish credit or method of payment.

Checks guest out of the hotel, prepare and explain the bill. Oversees the guest services department which welcomes and assists our guests by welcoming them and providing luggage assistance and an orientation of the hotel.

Provides personalized restaurant and entertainment recommendations based on extensive knowledge of the area. Ability to oversee multiple operational departments in the absence of management presence.

Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing their needs by adding personal recommendations to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

Comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Front Office duties.

Essential Functions of the Job :

Manages the staff at the Front Office (Front Desk, Guest Services and Concierge).

Interviews, trains and schedules staff. Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed.

Coordinatesarrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department.

Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved. Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups.

Monitor and assess revenue opportunities for the hotel, maximize red date conversion and keeps team on track to meet Upsell Goal.

Establish training and accountability within the team to achieve high results above benchmarks.

Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follows up on credit problems with Front Office Manager and / or Credit Manager.

Reviews all paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements and Direct Billings. Checks cashiers’ work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements.

Will answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Hotel Communications Agent.

Non-Essential Functions of the Job :

Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Business Center, and lobby coverage.

Provides basic trouble-shooting support for in-room services such as Internet, TV movies, games, and Web service.

Works closely with Door / Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests.

Work closely with Concierge team to ensure that all guest special requests and needs are met and customized to their preferences.

Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
