Oversee the development, implementation, and continued growth of a strategic commercial sales business for all formats across Claire’s retail stores.
The Field Vice President is responsible for leading the field team to deliver planned fiscal targets while maintaining an efficient cost base and a motivated workforce.
- Lead the development and execution of the short, medium and long-term operations strategy, ensuring delivery of operational and financial targets.
- Deliver a step-change in business performance, moving at pace to radically improve people, process and operational systems.
- Lead the transformation of the current framework, enhancing operational excellence across the existing portfolio and positioning Claire’s at the forefront of the market in terms of standards, quality, innovation and customer experience.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the broader business agenda, and participate in key decisions which impact all facets of the organization and its employees
- Build a best-in-class team across store operations, HR, customer service, property, loss prevention and health and safety
- Provide strong strategic and operational leadership to the Regional Manager / District Manager team, coaching and mentoring to develop talent and deliver high levels of output
- Instill industry best-practice disciplines at all levels in the structure, unifying colleagues behind the collective objective of delivering an outstanding customer experience at every touch point
- Ensure EBITDA is maximized by driving sales and controlling costs
- Ensure all activities meet with health and safety and quality requirements
- Work with support functions at home office to ensure all elements are maximizing every opportunity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-store management at a senior level, or equivalent experience
- Ability to lead / supervise and motivate associates at both store and district management levels
- Ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal formats
- Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
- Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
- Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store
- Travel required
