Metal Finish Plater - 2nd shift

2nd shift : 2pm-10pm + $1.10 / hr shift differential.

Performs all types of MetalPlating in the Plating Department using prescribed solutions, materials, and equipment.Embrace and engage in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including activities, butnot limited to 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving, TotalProductive Maintenance (TPM), and Knowledge Sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• Somewhat diversified work todo any plating job in department including small rack and barrel plating,solvent degreasing, brite dipping, polishing, sand blasting, or miscellaneousdepartmental jobs.
• Mix own acid andbrite dipping solutions using methods layouts and may have to make additions ofchemicals as required. (Other plating solution kept up by maintenance crew.)
• Performperiodic analysis of chemicals as required.
• Checks and records plating thickness as required.
• Judgment necessary to follow prescribedprocedures in order to maintain workmanship standards.
• May be subject to NADCAPrequirements.
• Exposed to varying degreesof dust, dirt, fumes, noise, etc. making job somewhat disagreeable.
• Protective gloves, footwear,eyewear, long pants and aprons use required.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma
• 1 or more years of experience in Metal Finish Plating
