Summary :

Inspect the quality of finished products and pack them. Maintain supplies levels and conditions on the machine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform visual inspection of finished products and ensure the quality is according to the standards required.
• Maintain required supplies at the machines in a good level and good condition to keep it producing flawlessly.
• Pack finished product accordingly.
• Communicate issues to the Team Leader / Technician.
• Records appropriate production forms.
• Keep the work environment area clean and safe.
• Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader / Management.

Work Schedule

• 3rd shift : 10 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM
• Overtime available if desired

Educations and / or Experience & Skills :

• Prior line packer experience (recommended)
• Prior food-grade manufacturing experience (recommended)
• Ability to read, analyze, and follow directions. Must be able to speak, listen, and openly communicate with team members and actively participate in team meetings.
• Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment.
• Ability to define and react to problems, color variations, small imperfections, collects data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion and decision during a fairly fast pace production level.

Requirements :

• Lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Push or pull with up to 50 lbs. of force on an occasional basis
• Stoop, kneel, climb or squat on an occasional basis
• Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis (stand 8 hours or more)
• Possess manual dexterity
• Detail-oriented, well organized with a demonstrated ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment

• Safety glasses and steel-toed boots are not required for this position. Requirements are tied shoes, long pants, lab coats and hair nets.
