What you will be doing :
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Finance is responsible for leading our sourcing and operational financial analysis activities including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cost allocations, and driving operational benefits through analysis of cost, efficiency, and working capital metrics.
Lead creation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including headcount. Work closely with supply chain leaders to generate budget and forecast changes.
This includes providing financial reports and drafting corporate presentations.
Lead all aspects of monthly variance analysis process noting and explaining key drivers versus forecast, budget and prior year as well as handle quarterly allocation true ups.
Ensure supply chain accounting and internal controls are recorded and reconciled in accordance with GAAP and company policy
Support strategic business decision-making through financial modeling and analysis including ad-hoc modeling and analysis.
Handle special projects and / or analysis as assigned by finance leadership.
Lead financial aspect of strategic planning initiatives including warehouse consolidation and acquisition integration.
Generate strategic analysis of global inventory including analysis of excess & obsolete inventories, rolling global inventory projections, facilitate actions to drive performance goals, and SKU rationalization.
Build and implement strategic analysis of activity-based cost drivers, COGS, inclusive of logistics / warehousing, supply chain overhead and other expense within COGS by division to ensure alignment regarding budget and forecast assumptions as well as monthly variance reporting vs.
budget, forecast, and prior year results.
Develop other appropriate score cards and key performance indicators
Analyze trends and provide early warning guidance on potential risks & opportunities to supply chain operating performance.
Delegate tasks to and develop team within the department while addressing any performance-related issues in a timely manner utilizing formal / informal performance improvement plan processes.
Cascade initiatives, priorities, and information to improve interpersonal communication, minimize bottlenecks and prevent department silos.
Remove obstacles and barriers ensuring the department achieves key goals and achievements.
Skills needed to be successful in this role :
Excellent interpersonal skills required as this position will get along with various levels within the organization including brand leadership
Must be highly organized, motivated and a proven self-starter with an extensive knowledge of all areas of Finance and Accounting
Ability to build ad-hoc reports and present to the VP / SVP of Finance
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
7+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance
3+ years of leadership experience in a finance and / or supply chain department
Advanced-level proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience working with Oracle and Hyperion / Essbase
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree
CPA and proven knowledge of financial controls
In California, Colorado, and New York City, the standard base pay range for this role is $124,073.00 $186,110.00 annually.
This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance.
The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
