Our Orthopedic APPs work in collaboration and consultation with other physicians, other APPs, staff RNs, and other health care professionals, providing holistic, compassionate care to patients and their families and empowers them to achieve their best health.

They are a member of an interdisciplinary team and facilitate continuum of care for patients from admission through the discharge process.

Robbinsdale Hospital - Celebrating its 25th year as a Level 1 Trauma Center, North Memorial Hospital is one of just six Level 1 Trauma Centers in the state with 20 operating room suites and a 353-bed tertiary hospital (518 licensed beds).

Maple Grove Hospital - Established in 2009, Maple Grove Hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center -138-bed community based acute care hospital, poised for growth, and recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU, and is the largest Family Birth Center in the state ( 5,000 deliveries per year and over 50,000 babies delivered).

Practice and Schedule Details

• 10-hour shifts
• 1 : 4 Weekends
• No nights
• No Operating Room or Clinic Responsibilities
• ED and inpatient consults, daily rounding and coordination, some minor procedures, and involvement in orthopedic trauma performance improvement and safety, outreach, education, research, & injury prevention

Position Qualifications

Physician Assistant

• Current Minnesota Licensure as a Physician Assistant through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Physician Assistant Certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Two or more years’ experience in a Physician Assistant role preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in area of specialization preferred.
• Valid DEA Registration

Nurse Practitioner

• Current licensure as RN in State of Minnesota
• Current registration as a nurse practitioner with the MN Board of Nursing
• Two or more years’ experience in a Nurse Practitioner role preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in area of specialization preferred.
• Valid DEA Registration
