Position : Director of Business Development (Oil & Gas Industry)
Position Overview :
We are looking for a seasoned Director of Business Development to lead our expansion efforts within the oil and gas industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven history of success in the oil and gas markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth within the oil and gas industry.
- Identify and exploit new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Maintain and grow a robust network of industry contacts to facilitate strategic alliances and business opportunities.
- Lead the sales team in devising and executing sales strategies that exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of top-tier service quality to our clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Oversee sales performance, providing detailed reports and insights to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand recognition.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in sales and business development, particularly within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass sales targets.
- In-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry and its key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven capability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a sales team.
- Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and industry events.
