Job Summary : The Director of Advancement Events provides overall leadership and execution for the annual events hosted by the Advancement Department in collaboration with department leadership and other members of the Advancement team.
This is a variable hour part-time position.

Lead Major Advancement Events : Responsible for the overall execution of the following Advancement events : Maroon and White Gala Early November Board of Advisors Fall Circle of Care Fall Athletic Hall of Fame Fall Golden Cubs Fall President’s Mass and Brunch Late November / Early December Cub Lawyer Dinner End of January B.
A.S.E. Alumni Reception Spring Alumni Senior Luncheon End of April Grand Reunion Events First weekend in June Other events as assigned
The Director is responsible for all aspects on the day-of experience for our guests and works with Advancement Office event lead to accomplish the following : Prepare event setup forms and ensure that the event is on the operations calendar.
Serve as lead point of contact with all necessary vendors, venue operators, caterers, etc. involved in each event.
