Collaborate with clients and their families to understand and work on person centered care plans, focusing on achieving specific goals and milestones. Provide emotional support, companionship, and positive reinforcement to clients, creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Document clients' progress, behaviors, and any notable observations accurately and comprehensively. Monitor and address any changes in clients' behavior, health, or overall well-being, reporting concerns to the appropriate staff. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, special education) preferred. Previous experience working with children and adults with special needs, either in a professional or volunteer capacity. Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills to effectively connect with individuals with diverse abilities. Understanding of various developmental, behavioral, and medical needs associated with different disabilities. Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and strategies for supporting individuals with special needs. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Fingerprint Clearance card (or willingness to obtain). DCW Training for attendant care if applicable (or willingness to obtain). Flexible hours that you set with your client / client guardian Reimbursement policy for training expenses

The Direct Care Provider will work closely with clients to support their daily activities, facilitate their personal goals, and enhance their overall quality of life. Providers will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where individuals can thrive and reach their potential.
