In the role of Engineering Supervisor you leads the activities of a team of Engineers and Specialists to ensure the correct configuration of the product in accordance with contractual, customer, program, and regulatory requirements in the most efficient way for the manufacturability of the product.

This position contributes to our vision by :

  • Defines the procedures for the communication and the flow of information in the engineering department;
  • Has responsibility for systems containing technical data such as product and customer records, specifications, drawings, configurations, tools, calibration, standards, work instructions, Approved part list / item master, test, and certification records;

Develops and guides project activities necessary to modify or incorporate Product Definition Management (PDM) systems.

  • Supports material review boards, change boards, corrective action boards as required;
  • Coordinates and ensures the implementation of processes such as configuration management, engineering data control, data loading, data industrialization, manufacturing support, continuous improvement, program planning and product delivery;

Job Requirements

Safran Electrical & Power looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 5 or more of engineering experience. Preferable 3-5 years of experience managing personnel.
  • Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point ,Access & Outlook) - Advanced
  • Experience with company engineering systems - Expert
  • Analytical skills - Advanced
  • Must possess strong leadership skills - Expert
  • Ability to develop team members - Advanced
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles - Advanced
