Job Summary :
Join our team as an MRI Tech. This full-time weekend position offers an alternative schedule, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.
You will perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of imaging.

Essential Functions :
Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, adjusting immobilization devices and equipment controls as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols, infection control policies, and radiation safety standards.
Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition and reporting any issues to management.
Document patient information, procedures, and imaging records in compliance with departmental policies and standards.
Provide first aid when necessary and maintain a calm demeanor under stress.
Serve as a preceptor for new team members, providing training on procedures and equipment.

Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Experience : Less than 1 year of experience required.
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) or Radiography (ARRT-R), or by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT).
