Sr Technical Writer at Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Sr Technical Writer Our Idaho Falls Business Unit is looking for a Sr Technical Writer to join their team As our Technical Writer, you will be responsible for researching, organizing, writing, editing and producing technical data for major publication projects across multiple product lines for the Scientech Business Unit, part of our Nuclear Division.

You will ensure all technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style.

You will also provide direct leadership to other members of the team.   • Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation. + Researches and translates technical information into manuals and / or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users.
  • May document engineering processes and specifications. + Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
  • Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards. What You Bring : + Due to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.

S. Person. + Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experiencein the development and editing of Technical / Engineering documentation related to software based products.

  • High attention to detail and a relentless pursuit for quality. + Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CMS platforms. + Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matters.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in technology, communications, or relevant technical field desired.
