Job Title : Paralegal - Plaintiff Personal Injury
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team specializing in plaintiff personal injury cases.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in supporting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Prepare and summarize medical records and other evidence for use in cases.
- Manage case calendars and deadlines, ensuring timely filings and responses.
- Assist with trial preparation, including creating trial binders and exhibits.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in plaintiff personal injury.
- Must be a Dallas County resident.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures, particularly in federal court (experience in federal court is a plus).
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
