Job Overview
- Responsible for engineering activities within a designated engineering business area.
- Undertake design engineering tasks to enable the progress and completion of related projects.
- Produce the required Engineering documentation then check for compliance with industry standards and company policies and procedures
- Record Engineering documents into PDM system and configure as required
- Actively participate in Engineering meetings with internal and external parties
- Upload information to Engineering databases and use technical software packages as required
- Liaise with other technical departments on work produced to ensure that any calculations and analysis is fit for purpose
- Manage project interfaces with third party suppliers to ensure delivery and agreed standard of work as per project / plan
- Perform any trials or simulations as required by project
- Keep abreast of advances in technology or methodology
- Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with manager on any issues or concerns
- Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to company's reputation is minimized.
If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest
Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorization for any deviations from standard procedures
Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness;
take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years' of Mechanical Engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design
