Medical Device Proposal / RFP Writer

Duration : 6 months contract

Job Description :

• Marketing & Communications team is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for creating high quality responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• You will collaborate with Cross Functional Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the delivery of compelling and accurate proposals that align with client needs.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the entire proposal development process, from initial concept to final submission.
• Work closely with Cross Functional Leads and SMEs to collect necessary information, such as project details, client requirements, and technical specifications.
• Effectively manage against deadlines by owning overall progress and completion of the RFP, clearly communicating deadlines to key stakeholders, and escalating any barriers which put timely RFP completion at-risk.

Experience :

• Healthcare industry RFP experience, preferably with medical devices
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and persuasive proposals.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documents.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Cross Functional Leads and SMEs
• Strong research skills to gather relevant information and insights from various sources.
• Ability to adapt and respond to feedback, continuously improving proposal content.
• Familiarity with marketing and advertising industry trends, practices, and terminology.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and proposal management software.

Skills :

• Oversee the entire proposal development process, from initial concept to final submission.
• Tailor proposals to meet specific client requirements and highlight client’s capabilities and unique selling points.
• Draft, edit, and format proposals, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
• Maintain an organized repository of all proposals, RFPs and RFIs, including templates, past proposals, and supporting documents.
• Ensure all documents are up-to-date, properly versioned, and easily accessible for future reference.
• Work closely with Cross Functional Leads and SMEs to collect necessary information, such as project details, client requirements, and technical specifications.
• Effectively manage against deadlines by owning overall progress and completion of the RFP, clearly communicating deadlines to key stakeholders, and escalating any barriers which put timely RFP completion at-risk.

Education :

Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
