JOB DESCRIPTION
We are Comfort Squad! Comfort Squad is a leader in the in-home care industry. Our trained caregivers provide quality in-home care for seniors and disabled adults who need some assistance to maintain their independence.
Our home care lets loved ones enjoy healthy lives in the comfort of a familiar environment. We tailor our care to their unique situation through a custom care plan.
These individualized care plans are carried out through our adult care providers.
Our current opportunity is for weekends only 12 hour day shifts
Responsibilities :
- Provide personal care and assistance to the patient in their home
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
- Experience with administering a bowel program
- Experience with a catheter
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
You may also be a backup caregiver for those situations where our caregivers are not available for their regular shifts during the week if you so desire.
