Director of Network Infrastructure Delivery

Position Overview

The Cloud, Applications, and Infrastructure (CA&I) business unit within Unisys provides consulting, managed services, and project delivery services for our global customers.

As the Director of Network Infrastructure, you will be reporting to the Global Head of Delivery.

The network leader will be an integral part of the Hybrid Infrastructure Services (HIS) delivery organization responsible for leading our global network team of 300+ associates and managing multimillion-dollar accounts.

You will be responsible for providing thought leadership to our internal and external stakeholders in driving the business outcomes and generating new business.

You will be part of a high-performance organization of client delivery professionals that collaborate across different capability teams to drive growth-oriented results.

You will instill an automation-first, next generation growth mindset in transforming the global network team.

As the Network leader, you will be responsible for reviewing, proposing, designing, hybrid and Multicloud network solutions to meet existing and prospective client's technological and business outcomes.

As a technical leader in Unisys, you play a critical role in advancing the overall network strategy, defining architectural standards, best practices, standardize on tools and technologies for network solutions and overall organizational change management and transformation.

You'llcontinually be learning about new technologies and looking to the future for why, and how our clients or prospects should be adopting them for value realization.

Key Responsibilities :

To build a robust network delivery practice! As a leader of the delivery organization at Unisys, this position requires a strong desire to build a dynamic, growth mindset, results-oriented network delivery practice.

To build and enhance the associate experience of global network associates across the business unit.

To focus on generating new revenue and improve margins across all accounts.

To build capabilities for network infrastructure services and promote them to existing and prospective clients.

Understand client business goals and outcomes and drive growth opportunities.

Discovers, identifies, and articulates unrecognized business value opportunities through curiosity and a focus to drive business client value.

Other Responsibilities :

P&L / Management

Has engagement level services profitability responsibility and manages services delivery for multiple engagements.

Manages all financials and operational metrics for the service line in region.

Works with leadership to ensure that the organization's strategy is consistent with Unisys strategy.

Achieves profitable revenue growth through the successful implementation of the business strategy.

Project Management and Service Delivery

Provides delivery of services consistent with Unisys strategy.

Provides leadership and creativity in the design and implementation of client engagements.

Manages the delivery and implementation of a broad range of services through the full engagement lifecycle.

Directs the concurrent activities of multiple engagement teams.

Consistently achieves or exceeds engagement revenue, margin, service level objectives and quality targets.

Effectively manages engagement risks, identifying and promptly notifying senior management of the potential impact of such risks and alternative approaches to mitigating them.

Client Relationship Management

Builds 'client for life' relationships by successfully leveraging Unisys entire portfolio to deliver breakthrough results for his / her clients.

Becomes a trusted advisor to clients by building solid professional relationships with members of senior level management.

People Management

Manages a team of people within a service line, including their training, development, performance, and career path.

Advocates and models a strong focus on performance management, development, career growth, engagement, and diversity within the practice.

Attracts and appropriately motivates professionals to build a practice leveraged to achieve or exceed growth, productivity, and profitability targets.

Actively participates in the Unisys college / university recruiting programs.

Works with Unisys recruiting to maintain a pipeline of outside experienced professionals.

Provides appropriate mentoring, feedback, training and development opportunities to help individuals within the practice reach their full potential.

Functions as an expert in one or more domains. Demonstrates marketable expertise in at least two market segments and / or functional / technical areas of specialization.

You will be successful in this role if you have :

Required Qualifications, skills, and expertise

Bachelor's degree in relative area of study, master's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience and certifications

15+ years total combined experience, with at least 10 years leading large high performance technical delivery teams in a global IT consulting environment highly preferred.

Experience in managing Multimillion-dollar P&L of >

$25million in value

Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and managing Network services for hybrid and multicloud environments for large enterprises

Experience with building hybrid SD-WAN services, network transformation, network modernization services

Experience in designing and implementing networking for major cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

Subject Matter Expert in software defined infrastructure, infrastructure as code, automation, and technology optimization to include hybrid and Multicloud migration strategy, planning, and implementation.

Must possess the ability to effectively communicate direction, commit people to action, and convey complex information in easily understood formats.

The role requires an individual that is highly collaborative with strong influencing skills, ambitious, creative, highly resourceful, self-driven and results oriented.

extensive experience in infrastructure strategy, public and private cloud, server, storage, and operations.

Recruit, develop, inspire, and retain a high-performing Network Infrastructure and Architecture professionals.

Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure components.

Demonstrated experience of networking technologies and cloud networking

Demonstrates strong knowledge across a wide range of services and solutions.

Understands CXO issues and solution alternatives and is comfortable interacting with them individually or as a part of a broader sales team.

Expert in emerging solutions, roadmap, and the business applications of technology.

Recognized thought leadership both internally and externally.

Expert knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products and services portfolio.

Experience in building partnerships in the network space and identifying the key partner solutions for implementing for customers.

Experience in implementing automation to drive operational efficiencies in network operations.

Active participation in professional associations, industry roundtables, etc

Preferred skills and qualifications

MBA degree is a plus

Certifications - CCNA, CompTIA Network+, VMWare, Citrix, Juniper Networks, ITIL, PMP, SAFe Agile

Cloud Certifications - AWS Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Network Specialty, Azure Architect, GCP Cloud Architect
