Responsibilities

  • Install pipe systems and valves
  • Cut, thread, assemble and bond pipes and tubes according to specifications
  • Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings
  • Remove and replace worn components
  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  • Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques

Job Requirements

  • State fire sprinkler license
  • A current driver’s license
  • Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.+, safely use of ladders, work overhead and work in tight spaces
  • Work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Current Fire Sprinkler Licensee
