Key Responsibilities Include :
- You will prepare, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
- You will solve unique and complex commercial, legal and client regulatory issues with impact on the business unit or function and through conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
- You will review business practices and policies and advise management of potential risks and mitigations.
- You will analyze various legal and business issues, discuss with subject matter experts, and advise business leaders.
- You will support and advise business development and sales teams in creating and selling new products and services.
- You will evaluate matters which may have a major bearing on the conduct of our organization's business.
Qualifications :
- It is required that you are licensed to practice law in the U.S. and a member of the bar in good standing.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience as a corporate or transactional lawyer in a top tier law firm or part of that experience in a relevant in-house services practice.
- J.D. from a top tier law school
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience is required.
- Requires ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges and / or regulatory issues; recommend process, product or service improvements;
- solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business; contribute to the development of functional strategy;
lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
- Experience with data privacy and laws and regulations related to privacy a plus.
- Skilled at communicating, both verbally and in writing, with customers and at the senior leadership-level.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to participate as a member of a team, assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned.
Salary Range : $140,000 to $145,000 Annual
