Job Description
What you will be doing :
- Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial records.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to maintain integrity in financial statements.
- Manage cash management processes, including forecasting and monitoring cash flow.
- Conduct account reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Handle accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero for efficient financial management.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Experience you will need :
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage Intacct is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in cash management and financial forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; CPA certification is a plus.
