Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to represent Ancient Roots in the Ohio cannabis community.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis education, a background in social media management, and experience in sales.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with dispensaries and budtenders, ensuring they are well-informed about our products, and regularly updating our social media channels with engaging and compelling content.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as the face of the Ancient Roots brand, representing our values and product line at dispensaries and industry events.

Build and manage strong relationships with dispensary staff, budtenders, and other industry professionals to keep them educated on product releases, promotions, and brand updates.

Provide in-depth product knowledge, including the benefits of solventless, full-spectrum products, to dispensaries and consumers.

Develop and execute social media strategies, including creating and posting content that aligns with Ancient Roots’ voice and vision across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all social media content is consistent with current marketing campaigns and messaging.

Organize and attend promotional events, brand activations, and product demos at local dispensaries to increase brand awareness.

Gather feedback from dispensary partners and customers to provide insights that drive continuous improvement in our product offerings and customer engagement.

Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products to position Ancient Roots as a leading choice for consumers.

Track and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize engagement.

Manage product presence on dispensary online menu’s to insure accuracy and presentation.

Qualifications :

2-3 years of experience in social media management, including content creation and community engagement.

2-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the cannabis, health, or wellness industries.

Strong understanding of cannabis products, specifically the benefits of full-spectrum and solventless processes (or a willingness to learn).

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to educate and engage dispensary staff and consumers alike.

Proven ability to create compelling, on-brand social media content that drives engagement and brand loyalty.

Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Willingness to travel to dispensaries and industry events as needed.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working in the cannabis industry.

Familiarity with Ohio's cannabis market and regulations.

Knowledge of influencer marketing and digital advertising strategies.

Compensation : Competitive salary plus commission, with benefits including product discounts and travel reimbursement.
