Lead CT Tech
Key Functions :
- Provides technical CT leadership and guidance
- Performs both CT and X-ray exams and selects appropriate radiation exposure factors according to body area, body habitus, and patient condition
- Documents exam for each case
- Operates and cleans Imaging equipment, following safe operating procedures as recommended by original equipment manufacturer
- Utilizes the Radiant Radiology system. Inputs procedure requests and changes in the Hospital Information System (EPIC) to input procedure requests and charges
- Assists with other duties as assigned

Background / Expertise :
Experience :
Two (2) years’ experience in CT required; Five (5) years preferred.
Licenses / Certification / Registration :
- Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Must be licensed in CT by the OBMI OR registered in CT by the ARRT.
- Requires BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire
