The Role :

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Project Manager / Scrum Master to serve our diverse base of global clients.

As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team.

Location : Hartford, Connecticut

Responsibilities :

• Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Oversee the implementation of agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
• Provide guidance and support to the development team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the teams progress.
• Ensure the team is focused on delivering value to the customer and meeting project goals.
• Monitor and report on team performance and progress to stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
• Coach team members on agile best practices and principles.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives and customer needs.

Required Skill :

• 8+ years of relevant work experience to join a dynamic team
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Scrum Master and possess domain expertise in Finance and Accounting
• Have excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Have experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs
