Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift, Monday through Wednesday 5 : 00PM-5 : 30AM)
Job Purpose : Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Nature of Duties :
- Troubleshoots, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform diagnostics.
- Rebuilds / Services manufacturing equipment as required.
- May perform equipment modifications as directed by Manufacturing Engineers.
- Identifies spare parts, tools or materials needed to maintain equipment.
- Performs Regular Preventative Maintenance.
Education and Experience :
- 2 year Technical Degree.
- 2 - 4 years minimum of SMT Machine Operation and Repair.
- Knowledge of Fuji equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of Automation with some knowledge of PLCs and its operation.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Experience decreasing downtime and yields improvements.
