Our company, located in Evansville, Indiana, is currently seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering department.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and detail-oriented. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and equipment to identify areas for improvement
- Create and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth implementation of process changes
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
- Perform root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective actions
- Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of equipment and process optimization techniques
- Proficient in process simulation and modeling software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements
