Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Serves as the primary point of contact for all escalated Parking and Transportation issues for both KSU campuses. Responsible for overseeing the citation appeals process and providing customer support for the Parking and Transportation Department.
Reviews citation appeals and provides guidance to customers on appeal decisions, following-up when needed. Settles grievances of applicants contesting parking violations and dissatisfied with appeals determinations.
Responsibilities
- Reviews parking violation appeals from faculty, staff, students, and visitors and renders decisions based on established guidelines
- Assesses appeals for validity of claim and possible judgement of violation
- Answers questions regarding parking violations and account balances
- Advises business operations management on process and changes within online appeals portal
- Meets with parking operations staff to review common citation issuance errors and feedback
- Manages employee permit status changes, specifically for employees that have separated from employment
- Assists with student events, such as new student orientation, that educate students on Parking and Transportation options and programs
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
Three (3) years related work experience in customer service in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in Parking and Transportation
Previous experience in any kind of electronic email escalations and customer service outlet

Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of parking technology and the ability to learn new technologies

Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
