Sr.pliance SpecialistEvans Bank is growing, and we are investing in our future! Headquartered in Western New York, we have a new opportunity for a Sr.
pliance Specialist position that will be a part of the Evanspliance team. The position will report directly to the Evans Bank Director ofpliance and be based out of Williamsville.
The Sr.pliance Specialist will be responsible for supporting apliance Program designed to ensure that the bank achieves optimumpliance with all laws and regulations as outlined in thepliance Management Policy / Procedure Statement.

What we ask of you :
- Monitor the procedures and practices of all bank personnel forpliance with applicable laws and regulations and adherence to bank policy
- Assist in the administration of aprehensivepliance management program
- Assist with the preparation and demonstration of monitoring and audit rmendations to business unit management
- Support the operating units and branch locations by advising onpliance risks within scope of responsibility
- Execute and assist withpliance monitoring reviews
- Assist in trackingpliance with key bank policies
- Contribute to training material and otherpliancemunications
- Assist in the implementation of new bank regulations and requirements. Assists in the distribution ofpliance information regarding all aspects of bank regulatorypliance
- Researchpliance issues and problems and provides interpretations or clarifications
- Assist in development of appropriate controls to avoid futurepliance problems
- Undertake and independently perform special projects as required
- Assist in the development of new policies and procedures in response topliance issues or regulatory changes
- Maintain awareness and understanding of the laws, rules, and regulations with which the Bank mustply with an awareness of issues of recent regulatory focus
- Ensure thepletion of logs, documentation, and records to maintainpliance with bank policies and procedures, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of systems, work processes, and procedures to improve department efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality as a member of thepliance team
Experience andpetencies :
- At least 3 years of Bankingpliance or related experience is required with demonstrated banking experience in deposit operations, lending, or auditing preferred
- Working knowledge of retail loan documents and familiarity with consumer regulatory requirements are preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability tomunicate (orally and written) in a professional manner when interacting with employees at all levels throughout the organization
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
This position is anticipated to pay a base rate between $ to $ This rate does not include potential incentive pay and benefits paid for by thepany which may be in addition to the base rate of pay.
The base rate of pay is determined by factors such as required experience, skill set needed, business impact of position, value of budget oversight and people management, among other factors.
