Director, Indirect Procurement (Global Distribution & Logistics)

We are currently seeking a Director, Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) for Indirect, with focus on our Global Distribution & Logistics business.

In this role, you will run point on strategy development, supplier management, and optimization of all indirect spend for these within the global supply chain remit.

You will play a key role in the team's success through leveraging your negotiation skills and leading the end-to-end sourcing process.

This role will report directly to the VP, Global Strategic Sourcing.

About the Job

• Lead global category strategy development, optimization of LS&Co. Supply base, tail spend management, supplier rationalization and spend consolidation across Global supply chain, Facilities and DTC and LATAM.
• Category Management :

o Own development and execution of category strategy for global diistributionution & logistics, Facilities, and real estate

o Drive alignment with key stakeholders to define the sourcing strategy and

market opportunities

o Consistent stakeholder engagement

o Drive Contract Compliance

o Create preferred / approved supplier mapping across assigned

categories / subcategories.

Risk Management- Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, such as

delays, disruptions, and compliance issues.

• Coach and develop direct reports on both technical and soft skills.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to perform regular supplier performance

evaluations, including quarterly business reviews (QBR's) as necessary.

Maintain up to date knowledge in procurement practices and technologies as well as

market trends related to assigned categories and geographies.

Utilization of Sourcing Tools :

o Deliver Savings reporting and status updates to GSS leadership and stakeholder leadership as necessary

o Track and measure all initiatives in GSS PM system

o Embed E-auction and RFX technology in sourcing process

About You

• 8+ years' experience in Indirect category sourcing experience preferably across Distribution & Logistics.
• Additional sourcing experience across HR, Professional Services, IT, Marketing, and Facilities a plus.
• Proficiency in cost analysis of 3pl providers, CPU impacts and financial implications of logistics strategies.
• Technology- Familiarity with logistics software & technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS) & ERP systems
• Regulatory & Compliance knowledge- Understanding regulations related to transportation, warehousing, & international logistics, including customs regulations and environmental laws
• Deep understanding of end-to-end Strategic Sourcing processes
• Strong Leadership qualities including effective cross-functional, team building

and project management skills

• Effective communication with internal teams, and external partners.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment prioritizing and leading

multiple complex initiatives

Results oriented, Self- starter and ability to effectively develop and translate

strategies into actionable plans

Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms including pricing, service

levels and contractual terms.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $161,400-$215,200. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.

The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
