Job Summary :

You will work with the Human Resource Manager on monitoring day to day administration of Corporate Payroll functions. with an ability to train in the HR Generalist Role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Payroll Expert - All aspects of Bi-Weekly and Weekly Payroll Input, including changes, garnishments, proper retention of backup for all changes, etc.
  • Processing payroll for roughly 600 employees in 4 companies.
  • Proofing payroll items watching for errors in hours, new hires, taxes, manual entries, direct deposit, etc.
  • Manual Check Requests
  • Year End Duties may require extra hours to process final payrolls, exceptions, sending tax related notices
  • HR Generalist experience preferred
  • Updating Accounting Spreadsheets on Benefits and Compensation
  • Payroll Reporting weekly and monthly payroll reports to be pulled and distributed
  • Continuously updating payroll guide
  • Work closely with HR Staff and Division Leaders towards continuous process improvements on all payroll functions.
  • Other Payroll functions that may be necessary, including :
  • Prevailing Wage
  • Terminations
  • Pay Changes / Title Changes
  • Prevailing Wage Spreadsheet Updates
  • Child Support
  • Garnishments
  • Multi State Compliance

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years payroll entry experience with ADP payroll system.
  • 2 years general Human Resource knowledge.
  • Experience processing payroll for employees in other states
  • Proficient in Excel

Preferred Experience

HR Certifications : PHR, SPHR

Pay Rate : $60,000 - $72,000
