Position : Desktop Support Analyst
Location : Chattanooga, TN - On-Site, 5 Days a Week
Duration : 6+ Month Contract to Hire
Pay Rate : $23-25 / Hour
Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong capacity to analyze problems, use sound judgment to determine solutions, and communicate effectively with customers and IT staff.
This role requires a self-motivated, empathetic team player who is innovative and works with integrity. The candidate should be willing to enhance their technical skills continuously and be comfortable working outside of normal business hours to support activities and on-call rotations when necessary.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and resolve technical problems using sound judgment.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and IT staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
- Continuously enhance technical skills through education, seminars, and interaction with other IT disciplines.
- Support activities and on-call rotations outside of normal business hours as needed.
Qualifications :
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of Apple hardware and operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking switches and data networks.
- Strong knowledge of IP telecommunication systems.
- Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems.
- Minimum of 1 year of PC / LAN technical experience.
- A+ certification or equivalent.
