Job Title : Process Engineer
Target Salary : $90k-$100k / yr + bonus + relocation available
Location : Near Greensboro, NC - 5 days / week on-site
Job Purpose
- Drive process and product quality improvements on the AMU.
- Monitor existing process stability programs, historical trends and KPI data for early identification and resolution of process and quality issues.
- Drive elimination of losses / waste on the AMU.
Job Responsibilities and Key Tasks
- Responsible for the 4-7 production lines of 1 Autonomous Manufacturing Unit (AMU).
- Strive for 0 accident.
- Drive overall operational and performance reduction losses in OEE by ensuring capture and analysis of process and quality data to identify opportunities and create solutions.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis on OEE losses (i.e. operational and performance losses).
- Create full understanding of OEE losses (i.e. reduce amount of unspecified ).
- Develop operational standards, keep them always updated and audit their correct application in the shop floor.
- Ensure operational standards drive to the optimization of energy consumption.
- Exchange good practices with the Process Engineers of the other AMUs.
- Promote shop floor transformation and coach AMU teams in new mindset and behaviors.
- Actively participate in the development of the Capex projects, providing process input to the Engineering / Projects team.
The Team I Will Be Collaborating With
AMU Manager, Team Leaders, Process Technicians, Operators, Operations Maintenance Coordinator, and Reliability Engineer.
Educational Requirements
Technical Bachelor's Degree.
Prior Job Requirements
- 2 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Knowledge of tools and techniques related to resolving process and quality losses.
- Understands how to drive performance improvement across working groups to achieve high performance.
