Job Description

Position Overview : The candidate will report to the Express Repair Service Manager and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading liquid tanks, truck chassis, and fluid delivery systems / pumps.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

• Diagnose Issues : Identify structural and operational problems with tanks, chassis, and fluid systems.
• Repair and Replace Parts : Restore equipment functionality by replacing failing parts and repairing malfunctioning components, including welding and fabricating.
• Install Upgrades : Enhance equipment efficiency by installing additional parts.
• Perform Tests : Conduct Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) tests on petroleum tanks and chassis.
• Follow Job Orders : Execute tasks as per customer requests and manager’s directions.

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in using and maintaining various tools (hand, electric, pneumatic, welding / cutting)
• Ability to read and comprehend work orders, safety manuals, and other instructions
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with safety standards in motor vehicle repair environments

Work Environment

1st Shift : 7a-5p

Clean shop environment - new addition to the shop as well that candidates will be working in.
