Continuity Care Home Nurses is looking for an energetic, positive, enthusiastic team player to assist in managing a skilled home health agency and non medical department.

We need a Registered Nurse with a BSN or MSN and / or management experience in private duty home care preferred. Manager is required to work Monday through Friday, either 7AM to 4PM AND / OR 10-7PM (MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR BOTH) Administrative On-Call and some weekend work will be required.

As Registered Nurse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include :

Making initial home visits for our patients. Our Agency provides services throughout Southern California including Los Angeles, Ventura, San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita / Lancaster and Orange County.

There is NO OASIS (we are licensed without Medicare) and our population of patients is more middle aged. Some Pediatric cases.

Overseeing private duty field staff (also help ADPCS & QA Nurse update POT's and audit paperwork). We need a professional communicator who is able to talk with field staff re : MD Orders, medical supplies and to follow through with contracted pharmacies.

Various computer skills are needed for this position.

Making supervisory visits which will include updating / supervising home chart paperwork with assistance of QA / QI nurse.

RN Manager also needs to motivate / supervise non medical field staff, conduct educational classes and participate in field staff orientation.

Our ideal candidate is a high energy person with a hands on management style who will help with staffing cases and is willing to assist the Administrator with marketing.

An individual who is able to make decisions independently and handle crisis situations by reacting calmly and "getting all the facts" before making decisions.
